Water Shortage – High Temp

This year Delhi has broken all records in temp which has gone up to 50 degrees in some locations .Temp rising has also led to depletion of our water reserves leading to less supply ultimately causing shortage which has lasted for weeks. Though DJB and our MLA have tried to provide water tankers but with a colony of over 1500 plots it has become very tough to fulfill demand private tankers on the other hand are charging unjustified amount for a water tanker out of which the water is not clean to make matter worse. Jal board is giving water only once a day making it difficult for residents. To meet future scarcity problem, our councilor Anita Sandeep Baisoya, has suggested digging of bore wells near main water pipelines so that during paucity of water these can be used to draw water from the ground and create pressure in pipelines so houses get water. Hope fully situation of water scarcity might stabilise in the coming weeks. Hope fully the situation stabilizes .
