Residents Applaud VVWA Efforts
VVWA in association with DJB organised a camp on Wed, 27 Dec at the Senior Citizen Lounge in Kalyan Kendra. The response to the camp was tremendous. Lots of residents came with their problems and put them to the DJB representatives.
Many pending issues were sorted out. The following issues were tackled: 1. New water connections, 2. Water meter grievances, 3. Water bill queries, 4. Water connection regularisation, 5. Disconnection issues and 6. Mutation (change of ownership/ names in water bills).
The grieving residents were so many that the staff had to stay much beyond the allotted time to attend to each one of them.
Residents complemented the VVWA for organising this camp at their door step because when the residents go to the JAL board offices, they often return unattended.
The residents requested VVWA to organise more such camps for electricity and other civic issues in the near future.
