Residents of the sector raised serious concerns over a foul smell emanating from the garbage processing plant within the club premises. The stench, described as “unbearable,” disrupted daily life in the surrounding residential areas. Hemant Gupta, a member of the club management, responded promptly to a resident’s complaint and sent the housekeeping supervisor to investigate. According to reports, the plant was operated after a four-month hiatus, but the issue persists, prompting the team to shut it down temporarily. Residents argue that the plant’s operation in a residential area is unsuitable and are urging club authorities to take immediate and permanent corrective measures.
