On Sunday, September 15th, Saahas NGO and the Wellington Eco Club, in collaboration with WECA, organized a Waste Segregation Refresher at W A Park from 8 to 8:30am. This session was primarily aimed at helpers, guards, and housekeeping staff. From 9 to 9:30 AM, the refresher was open to all residents, followed by another session for domestic helpers and housekeeping staff from 9:30 to 10 AM. Additionally, an online session was held from 5 to 5:40 PM for all interested participants. This initiative was part of the effort to make Wellington a zero-waste condominium and to reduce waste going to landfills. A significant number of housekeeping staff and maids attended the sessions, demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability within the community.
