We are delighted to announce the launch of the Cleanliness Drive in our Colony, which commenced on 21st November 2024 from DCA’s A Block Club with the installation of Aerobins for effective waste management. This important initiative has been undertaken by the A Block Association in collaboration with Shammi Talwar, the MCD Brand Ambassador, whose unwavering commitment to sustainability has been instrumental in making this project a reality.
The inauguration ceremony of the Aerobins was graced by the presence of Dr. N.R. Tuli, district health officer, who honoured us with his participation and helped us kick-start this much-needed program.
The drive began at the A Block Club, our community hub, and is designed to gradually cover the whole colony. This initiative marks the first step toward transforming our Block into a Zero-Waste Zone, setting an example for the entire Colony.
We urge all residents to pro-actively participate in this important cause. The involvement of women and youth is especially vital for its success. Together, we can make our Colony cleaner, greener, and more sustainable for generations to come.
This long-overdue project is being implemented as a pilot initiative at the A Block Club, and its success will determine its expansion across the Colony. With the steadfast support of Shammi Talwar and the collaboration of our residents, we are confident that this program will set new benchmarks for waste management in our community.
