A touching scene occurred during DLF Phase 2’s harsh winter when neighbours banded together for a worthy cause. During the Lohri celebrations, the community came together to share warmth and joy under the leadership of Sapna Sherawat’s Niswarth Seva Foundation.
The organization brought some warmth to the winter months by distributing blankets and hats, socks, samosas, tea, and popcorn. On December 25, the Maitribodh Parivaar, led by Maitreya Dadashreeji, held a food and blanket distribution campaign, demonstrating their kindness.
Resident who encouraged contrib-uting, Harsh Bhalla, was instrumental in putting this project together. Staff members and domestic assistants were invited to accept the blankets and celebrate Langar, encouraging a feeling of cohesion within the DLF Phase 2 group.
The community’s combined efforts brought to light the genuine spirit of the season, which is giving, sharing, and spreading warmth to improve the lives of those who are less fortunate.
