Chhath pooja is dedicated to sun God, Surya and Chhathi Maiya. It is carried for four days that involves a long fast without water worshipping the rising and setting sun, while standing in water. The pool was filled with the water and the small poles were decorated with flowers and lights. The area around the pool was decorated with beautiful floral rangoli. Women came with their spouses and families and offered prayers.
