There was a Senior Citizens Walkathon in Malibu on 6th January to welcome 2024 in a sporty way in defiance of the wintry morning cold. The event generated bonhomie among participants as well as spectators who turned up in large numbers.
In the Women above 65 category, Ms Seema Malhotra, Veena Bhatia and Sunita Tandon won the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.
Likewise, the winners for women in the 55 to 65 age group were Ms Preeti Anand, Poonam Soni and Asha Bharti won the prizes respectively.
In the Male above 70 category, the winners were Mr Ashok Suri, Dilraj Sharma and Rakesh Malhotra won the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. For the 60 to 70 age group the winners were Mr Amarjit Joon, Banarsi Lal Saini and Kamal Kumar Bharti respectively Kudos to Ms Alka Dalal for organising this festive event to promote togetherness.
