The W block RWA under the dynamic leadership of Kamal Kapoor, president, RWA, distributed organic compost made from wet waste collected from the W block to residents of the block. Around 250 kg of organic compost was produced and distributed to residents for use in the plants at home in reusable cloth bags after packing in newspaper waste. This is a great initiative of the W block RWA to recycle wet waste for productive use. This is an example of contribution to environment management and reduction of impact of climate change on society. Besides benefits of waste management the initiative also contributes to healthy gardening, reduction in pollution and cost saving for residents. It’s an exemplary initiative that needs emulation by other RWAs.
