On Sunday, the 20th august, the Mohyal Samaj, came to the sheesham park, to participate in the Vriksharopan programme. The programme went on, as per schedule, the Mohyal samaj was welcomed with tea and biscuits. Thereafter all the members introduced themselves and the NFC vrikshropan samiti, told the guests, about their role in the colony and the contribution of their members.
The Mohyal samaj, members planted, saplings of plants, in preprepared pits. These saplings were brought by the Mohyal samaj, as a gift for, the vrikshropan event.
After the event, all the participants went to a nearby restaurant for breakfast. The Mohyal samaj, was very grateful, to the samiti, for organising the programme, at such a short notice.
All’s well that ends well. The vriksharopan samiti, is making a wonderful social contribution, by planting more trees, in this concrete jungle. This will give a breather to the coming generations.
