April 26 was indeed a special day for residents of Noida. It was the day for people to come out and exercise their voting rights for General Election 2024. This year, Election Commission had opened polling booths within the campuses of housing societies at Noida to encourage residents to cast their votes.
A polling booth was opened at Clubhouse of AGV1. Many residents preferred to cast their votes in early morning hours to avoid sun and heat. It was of great help to elderly residents to cast their votes comfortably within the society campus without travelling to distant polling booths like previous years. Adequate arrangements were made to make the voting process smooth and fast. After casting their votes, residents came out proudly flaunting the ink marks on their fingers and taking snaps with a smile. They also posted photographs in society groups and asked other residents to join them to exercise their voting rights.
