New beginnings, renewed energy and enthusiasm was the order of the day when Vividha family met for the first time in 2024. The excitement to start the new year on a positive note was quite visible. Ladies came dressed up in their winter best clothes as the day was foggy and windy. Despite the cold, 64 members braved the chill to come to meet their extended family to celebrate January festivals —- Lohri, Makar Sankranti and Republic Day.
Group of ladies sang the patriotic song ‘yeh desh hai veer jawanon ka’ to celebrate the forthcoming Republic Day.
Ladies came prepared with Punjabi dances and songs. After the sacred fire was lit, prasad was offered and Gayatri mantra was recited. Everyone danced with joy while enjoying peanuts, popcorn and Revari.
A round of tambola was played which is definitely the favourite amongst ladies.
Hot mix pakoras, jalebi and tea are more than welcome on any cold foggy day and our meeting day was no exception. Ladies thoroughly enjoyed the snacks and made reels and clicked pictures.
Vividha family will go for a picnic in February to celebrate Basant panchami.
