A Leader in Mining and Environmental Science – A graduate of the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, Mr Mitra began his career at one of the world’s deepest gold mines during its transition to Bharat Gold Mines at Kolar Gold Fields, Karnataka.
Mr Mitra later moved to Opencast Mining, mastering resource optimization and playing a key role in developing India’s first mining software. With expertise in Fire Rescue, Disaster Management, and environmental science, he helped establish two Greenfield Cement Plants and secured over 100 environmental clearances across India.
Mr Mitra’s dedication to learning led him to become a master trainer for executives and a technical advisor for national competency examinations in mining.
