Vijay Diwas Celebrations in Malibu Towne

This year marked 25 years of the Kargil War, Operation Vijay. The war which was fought by our armed forces in the summer of 1999 saw our brave soldiers battle huge odds. Many precious lives were lost but the sacrifice of these brave hearts was not to be in vain and our forces emerged victorious after this 60-day war.

To celebrate the silver jubilee of Op Vijay, many events were organised across the length and breadth of the country.

A Painting Competition was held in Central Park, Malibu Towne.
