Yoga, an ancient practice that unites mind, body, and spirit, has gained immense popularity worldwide for its countless benefits. On International Yoga Day, Jan Jagran took the initiative to spread awareness on yoga and its significant benefits. Through an inspiring video, Jan Jagran aimed to emphasize the transformative power of yoga, not just for individual well-being but also for fostering a sense of unity and compassion among people.
The video showcases children and elders, coming together to practice various yoga asanas and meditation techniques, portraying the transformative effects of yoga on physical health, mental well-being, and spiritual growth.
Madhu Mittal (ATS-2) prompted the idea for the video. The like-minded group of yoga enthusiasts got together and brain stormed the ideas for the video spearheaded by Ruchika Jain (Mahagun Morpheus). Children from Barola village: Kajal, Deva, Shivangi, Yesh, Vaishnavi and Siricha participated in the video wholeheartedly. Other participants were Madhu Mittal, Shashi Raj Srivastava, Shailja Rana, Sudesh, Sonia, Kamini and Ruchika Jain. The video was shot, edited, directed by Ruchika Jain. She also rendered her voice to the video.
Filming of the Video: The group got together one fine morning in the E5 park. The park was lush green with all the grass, tall trees, birds chirping and the sound of flowing water from the newly installed fountain. The pleasant atmosphere filled everyone with josh. Everyone was dressed in white colors and with lovely smiles. Shooting the entire video was a pleasant experience with everyone playing their part perfectly.
The video on International Yoga Day served as a powerful reminder of the impact yoga can have on individuals and society as a whole. Their inspiring initiative of Jan Jagran has inspired countless individuals to embrace yoga as a means to enhance their well-being and contribute to a more harmonious and compassionate world.
