The Teej function held at Club3 was a joyous affair, celebrating cultural heritage and festive spirit. The evening was filled with dance and music, leaving everyone in high spirits.
The program kicked off with a Ganesh Vandana performed by a Rajasthani folk dancer, setting an auspicious tone for the event. PH1 ladies sang sawan songs. This was followed by a solo dance by Shagun on the track “O Rang-rezia”, captivating the audience with her graceful movements.
Next, the stage came alive with a Ghoomer dance performed by folk dancers. The rhythmic steps brought the essence of Rajasthan to life, enchanting everyone. This was followed by a dance mash-up by Nisha, Sonia and Vandana on tracks like “Tip Tip Barsa”, “Humko Aajkal Hai” and many more, showcasing their dynamic performances.
The excitement peaked with a fire dance by folk dancers, their daring moves leaving the audience in awe. Shagun and group came to the stage with a performance on “Mehbooba Mehbooba”, which was met with loud applause.
Dr. Neetu took the stage, delighting everyone with her performance on Rajasthani songs, adding a touch of traditional music to the evening. Rashi too performed a solo dance.
The highlight was the much-anticipated ramp show. The ladies dazzled in their ethnic and modern attire, competing for titles. The winners were Purva Rawal, Renu Bhargav, Varuni (Best Attire in Ethnic and Modern); Vipula (Best Hair Style); Anshu Gupta (Best Smile); Savita Jha (Eye-conic Eyes); Vandana Kumar (Latka Jhatka Queen); Sonia Singh (Matching Queen); Pooja, Geeta Singh (Miss Stylish); Sarika Verma (Walk of the Day).
The event marked a special occasion as it was the first time that PH1 – PH4 ladies celebrated together, making it an inclusive event. The celebration was organized by the ladies, featuring vibrant shopping stalls and food stalls offering bhel, corn, pizza and more.
The decor added to the atmosphere, with a highlight being the selfie point and the traditional Savan Ka Jhula (swing), which became popular spots for capturing memories.
The Teej function was a success, celebrating the diversity and talent within the community. It was a night to remember, filled with unforgettable moments. The icing on the cake was when we discovered our Teej celebration had been covered by a Hindi newspaper!
