Currently Sector 78 is the hot destination of Noida and the magnet is the theme based park Ved Van spread across 12 Acres land built at a cost of 27 Crores. Starting early morning till late evenings one can see overwhelming crowd there, while the outer periphery is packed with cars.
After a continuous effort of 2 years, Ved Van was finally opened for public on 25 June. Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Aadityanath did the “Lokarpan” of this beautiful park. As the name suggests, this park is based on the four Vedas. The excerpts from the four Vedas are engraved on the walls along with murals and paintings. The park encases a huge amphitheatre that witnesses, along with the guests a mesmerising laser show every evening. As soon as the dusk sets in, people start gathering at the amphitheatre and by the time the laser show starts, the amphitheatre is fully packed. Amphitheatre also overlooks a beautiful fountain spread almost across the Park’s breadth that attracts the onlookers 24 hours. This is the favourite spot of kids as well.
Walkways are designed thoughtfully so as to reveal the speciality of the theme park, while walking. Not just the structures, but the landscaping of the park is also wonderful. The undulating profile of the green area not just encases the excerpts from Rigved, Samved, Yajurved and Atharvaved, but also around 50000 medicinal plants are planted here, that is mentioned in Vedic literature.
The prominent grey wall running across the park showcases the yield of Samudra Manthan, namely, The Kalkut Venom, Kaamdhenu, Ucchaishrava, Airavat, Kaustuv, Kalpavriksha, Rambha, Devi Laxmi, Varuni, Chandrama, Parijaat, Paanchjanya Conch, Lord Dhanvantari and Finally the Amrutam, all displayed in bright yellow colour.
Coming up of this park was long awaited and now that its open, it will surely add to the enhanced lifestyle of people around it not just by its tranquillity, but also in terms of added value of the properties around.
Ved Van is like a dream come true for the residents of nearby societies.
