Spread over an area of 12 acres, The Ved Van is coming up as a marvel in Sector 78, Noida. Situated at the heart of Central Noida, this theme based park is getting ready to attract thousands of visitors per week from the nearby high rise Societies and from the other parts of Noida.
Sector 78, where the park is going to come up, is home to several newly-built high rise group housings namely Mahagun Moderne, Hyde Park, Antariksh Golf View, Assotech Windsor Court, Elite Golf Greens etc. Ved Van is a real ambitious project of Noida Authority that has been sanctioned around 30 crores to build the uniqueness jointly by Civil and Horticulture Department.
This park will be one of its kind in the city. It will offer a unique opportunity for residents to enjoy and learn about the ancient history of India. The park will be devoted to Indian scriptures and saints. The objective is to provide residents or visitors an opportunity to understand old scriptures and how these writings can have a positive impact on life.
As the name suggest the Ved Van will be depicting and provide insights on the 4 vedas, namely Rigved, Samved, Yajurved and Atharvved. Alongside the Vaidik scriptures, Vedvan will have different varieties of medicinal plants and traditional Indian fruit bearing trees. Families would be able to take their children to these parks and teach them about spiritual and medicinal values of the trees.
In the month of July, a massive plantation drive was also carried out in Ved Van in presence of MP Dr Mahesh Sharma, MLA Sri Pankaj Singh, CEO Smt Ritu Maheshwari, DM Sri Suhas LY and many other dignitaries from different fields of the society. Around 25 thousand saplings were planted.
Along with the ancient history, the Ved Van will also be laden with many amenities like walking trail, amphitheatre, water body, sitting area etc.
The residents of the adjoining societies are anxiously waiting for the inauguration of this beautiful park that will not only increase the quality of life around it but will also be the oxygen station for so many societies that will ultimately result in a positive appreciation of the properties around.
