Trees are called green lungs, which are our biggest source of oxygen. But unwanted, haphazard tree growth can create havoc for the people living around it. Peepul seeds are thrown all around by the birds. Therefore it becomes very difficult to control the growth of the peepul tree. We recently learnt that they are found in the excreta of the crows. Once the sapling gets even 6″ tall, it becomes difficult to uproot it and might grow into a full fledged tree later on. The roots of the tree spread under the foundation of the house and first damage the boundary wall and eventually pose a danger to the foundation of the house.
Many people have been complaining about the damages to the house later on. It is important to be to be watchful and destroy any unwanted tree saplings. This can easily be done by pouring a teaspoon of caustic soda on their roots and sprinkling a few drops of water over it which destroys its roots. This will save the house from the unwanted growth under it. RWAs along with the residents should take it as part of their service. The residents should be alert about such wild flora and fauna which can prove hazardous to our lives in future.
