Saima Zaidi (T4) is a compassionate psychologist dedicated to guiding individuals on their path towards self-discovery, growth and empowerment.
Saima had a problem-solving gift from childhood and knew how to guide her friends and those around her from an early age. She was a decision-maker from the start and knew when and what to speak. She had married young and left the advertising world due to erratic timings after her marriage.
Saima wanted to do more with her life and was egged by one of her close friends, whom she counselled on life issues back then, to pursue ‘Psychology’. Supported by her spouse, she embarked on a journey of healing and transformation, seven years after her marriage.
Saima studied at Amity College, where she was recognised as a ‘born therapist’ and awarded for personal and professional excellence in both years of her academic journey. Thereafter, she started out her own practice and has slowly built it from two clients in her first month to numerous clients across age groups today.
Saima has impacted numerous lives, from helping clients overcome addictions to facilitating family and marital counselling. She focuses on mentoring anxious and stressed youngsters who face peer pressure and social media challenges.
Saima’s future plans include growing in this field, training young psychologists and promoting a heart-led approach to mental health. She believes, “the greatest weapon against stress is the ability to choose one thought over another”; she emphasises the power of choosing positive thoughts and offers practical tips for managing mental well-being.
Saima’s advice to Hamletians includes fostering open communication, patience, and compassion in resolving conflicts.
Personally, Saima is youthful, full of pranks and extremely helpful. She is loved by T4 residents, and always praised by everyone around her.
Recognised with the International Fame Awards 2023 for excellence in psychology, based on a survey of doctors and hospitals, Saima is doing well on her transformative journey. We celebrate her invaluable contributions and wish her continued success.
