An unscrupulous DJB meter reader was fooling our residents in S Block by telling them that the meter is stopped/running very fast. In some cases he was generating bills also on the spot, showing huge pending amounts. He demanded money for getting the meters replaced & his own service charges. Many residents lodged telephonic complaints with the Secretary/President of SBWS. Our guards were instructed to catch the fellow & click his photo & check the ID card. A complaint was lodged with our MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj, ZRO Sh Arun & the staff in charge Durga Rawat. Happy to inform that an immediate action was taken by DJB & the concerned meter reader has been suspended. Residents are requested to be alert inform their RWAs if any suspicious activity is noticed.
