The traffic light at Bristol Chow right outside the A Ext. Entry/Exit Gate is Chaos at peak hours due to the mismanaged traffic at the traffic light. Because of this jam, residents of A Extension have been struggling for years, to take a U-turn for Golf Course Rd. / Arjun Marg etc.
Recently, PRWS Sec. Poonam Jain along with Dharmendra Seth (PRWS Security Management Chief), on ground monitoring, worked with the local police to erect traffic cones to give a freeway to drivers who want to take a U-Turn. Along with this signages have also been installed on this road asking drivers to leave the U Turn lane free.
Over some days the traffic cones were damaged by commuter which is why the resident body is now pushing to get concrete dividers installed.
Road marking with paint work started by DLF team on 27th December. Traffic police ACP for this area also visited the chowk to find a more permanent solution.
Having a free U-Turn would be a big relief for residents who live in A Ext
