Abhivyakti Cultural Forum organised a dance pro-gramme at Arun Vihar Institute Noida on October 7. It’s theme was ‘The festivals celebrated in India’.
These included Baisakhi, Bihu, Durga Puja, Holi, Diwali, Ganesh Utsav, Kalbelia & Ghoomar, Navratri, Janmastmi, Sawan, Eid, Valentine’ Day, 26 January & the New Year.
30 ladies, not only from Ram Vihar but other sectors as well, performed in the programme. Abha Atray, the vetran thespian and the Director of the Forum is also from Vihar. She conceived the beautiful idea and the theme was woven into a programme. Other artists from Ram Vihar included Sarabjit, Aditi, Tiny, Kaswi, Snehal, Arya & Ayra.
The program was a treat for both eyes & ears. The artists were attired in colorful dresses befitting the festival & danced with great enthusiasm on catchy numbers selected by Abha Atray.
Interesting part was that five artists from Gurugram Cetre of the Forum also entertained the audience with their energetic performance.
More than 200 audience remained spellbound till the end when they joined to dance on the peppy numbers of the grand finale. I am sure that mesmerising performances on certain numbers shall continue to delight many in the audience.
