Parsvnath Prestige is a vibrant society and the families participate enthusiastically in the activities oragnised from time to time. August and September months kept all busy looking forward to the various events held.
1 Kid 1 Sapling – Held on 05 August, kids actively participated. The aim was to develop eco-friendly habits. Presentations by Abhyuday Gupta (D405) on ‘General Awareness of Plants in Our Life’ and Pratyush Dwivedi (G303) on ‘Feeding Pigeons is a Bane’ was appreciable. Nature Walk with all children was led by Oorvi Gupta. Plant-based selfie booth and Club were decorated by Ila Mishra.
Savan Mela – On 06 August, a fun-filled, vibrant Savan Mela was organised in Parsvnath Prestige in collaboration with event companies. There was lots of fun, dance, Rajasthani folk dance and a variety of food.
Independence Day – On the occasion of 76th Independence Day, 15 August, a lot of cultural activities (fancy dress, skit, group and solo dance) and drawing competitions were held. Active participation by PP children and volunteers helped in making the event successful and highly engaging.
Volunteers were: • Drawing Competition Judges – Prayag Shukla, Subhodh Chopra and Smita Mathur • Dance Mentors – Apramita, Mansi Sharma, Neha and Kedar Sir • Cultural Activity Volunteers – Seema K Singh (fancy dress), Alka Singh (fancy dress), Pooja Mohanti (skit), Smita (skit) and Sumitra (song) • Amphitheatre and Club Decoration – Ila Mishra, Shobhna, Smita, Taruna, Seema Dureja, Pooja Mohanty and Shrutika Mittal.
Drawing Competition: During the drawing competition, the enthusiasm, especially among children, was very high.
Teej Festival – On 19 August, Teej festival had multiple events planned for the ladies – Multiple solo dance, Group dances, Teej Queen contest, Teej Princess contest, Ramp walk for ladies and Solo performances.
Senior Citizens Day – 26 August is Senior Citizen Day; we celebrated in our society to honour and appreciate the elderly people who have contributed to the world’s progress and wisdom. This entire event was spearheaded by our President, Deepak Mangal.
On this day, 31 Ladies of Parsvnath Prestige brought home made food for all seniors “as a token of love” (Volunteer names are available in the digital version of Samvada). Selfie booth was decorated by – Ila Mishra, Shobhna and Taruna. Close to 300+ residents participated in this event. All seniors had lots of fun, they all sang songs, gave performances and bestowed their blessing and best wishes on all of us. Mr Mangal anchored the entire event.
The in-house Chefs (food volunteers) were: Abha Lohani, Akshita Chaudhary, Shilpi Goel, Alka Sharma, Shalini Khurana, Pooja Bhargav, Seema Dureja, Ruchi Gupta, Rohiee Gupta, Chhaya Chauhan, Aparna Pathak, Ila Gupta, Monika Upadhyay, Alka Bhatnagar, Tanu Verma, Sanju Sharma, Suvidha Agarwal, Kapila Ahuja, Taruna Malik, Rupali Srivastava, Ruchi Dubey, Rinku Mangal, Seema K Singh, Nishi Aggarwal, Shaloo Sharma, Smita Mathur, Gunjan Pandey, Babita Yadav, Namrata Srivastav, Shasvati and Bhavna Batra.

Janmashtami – On 07 September, the Mandir was decorated by ladies. They transformed PP amphitheater into a mini Gokul Dham. The decoration volunteers made cow, peacock, Gobardhan Parbat, etc… the entire aura was mesmerising and pious. 15+ lady volunteers and 40+ children’s participation made the event even more divine.
Matka Decoration Competition: Judges – Ila Mishra, Rashmi Jain, Vasundhra Gupta, Alka Chopra. Winners – 1st Prize – Aarna Batra; 2nd Prize – Aazeen Vig; 3rd Prize – Anusha.
Rangoli: Judges – Rashmi Jain and Shilpa Sharda. Winners – 1st Prize – Shreya Sharma; 2nd Prize – Shanbhvi Maurya.
Krishan Roop Competition: Judges – Bharti Diwedi and Pooja Bhargav. Winner – 1st Prize – Ekansh Brighuvanshi.
Couple Runway Walk Winners: Anshu and Shilpa Sharda.
Our Decoration Champions – Ila Mishra, Shobhna, Shalini Varshney, Nishi, Rachna and Ruchi Gupta – decorated our Mandir and amphitheatre beautifully.
