Tulsi Vivah was organised on 12th November in Gauri Shankar Mandir DLF Phase 2. It symbolises the divine union of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, represented by a sacred Tulsi plant. All the rituals were followed by Radha Krishna devotional songs. Mandap was built in the courtyard of the temple, where the Tulsi plant is usually planted in the centre. This mandap was decorated for rituals. Besides, Lord Shaligram Tulsi was dressed as adorned in a saree, while Shaligram represents the groom. It is celebrated on Dwadasi Tithi of Shukla Paksh in Karthik month. This ritual highlights the belief that virtues and rights are always protected by the divine.
