Few members from our society showcased their remarkable abilities in sporting events.
Swimmers from B-7 participated at the 19th National Masters Swimming championship 2022-23 organised by Karnataka Swimming Association held at Mangalore from 24th to 26th November 2023.
Among the 700 swimmers from across India, they stood out with their outstanding performance.
In the group H-men’s category, Mr Rahisudeen brought home a gold medal in the fiercely competitive 50m backstroke event, and a silver medal in the 100m backstroke category.
Further, Neeraj Tokas bagged the following medals: in the group E-Men’s Swimming competition; a silver medal in the 50m breaststroke butterfly event, silver medal in 4 × 50m Medley relay and a bronze medal in the 50m Backstroke event. Mr Tokas also represented India in World Masters Swimming competition held in Japan in August’23.
Neeti Nagpal made her mark in the Vasant Kunj Inter Sector Carrom tournament organised by RWA D3/4, securing the position of 1st Runner up.
Additionally, Jagmit Singh emerged Victorious in the Vasant Kunj Men’s Table Tennis championship held at Kavery apartments.
These remarkable achievements not only reflect the dedication and hard work of these individuals but also serve as an inspiration to the entire society, setting an example to all, young and old alike.
