Triphala Park, located near the Gol Chakkar in Sector 61, Noida, is a beautiful green haven popular among the residents of central Noida, especially morning walkers and children. The park features a variety of trees and medicinal plants, offering ample shade and fresh air. It is divided into three sections: one dedicated to Amla trees, another to Harhad trees, and a central play area with swings and a monkey ladder for kids. Different tracks for walking and jogging surround the park, and a complete round on the track counts approximately 4,500 steps. An open gym with 15 pieces of equipment allows fitness enthusiasts to exercise in the fresh air. Numerous steel and cement benches are placed throughout the park for visitors to relax. Triphala Park is also a hub for community activities. A Yog Sansthan conducts free yoga classes daily, with about 25 men and women participating. These sessions add to the park’s appeal, promoting physical and mental well-being among the residents.
Despite its many attractions, Triphala Park faces several challenges. Visitors often leave snack wrappers and empty bottles scattered around, creating an ugly and unhygienic environment. This plastic waste is non-biodegradable and harmful to the environment. Dogs frequent the park, and despite rules against bringing pets, some visitors bring their dogs. There have been incidents of walkers being bitten by dogs. To address these issues, the following measures are recommended. Authorities should conduct surprise checks to catch those violating park rules. Prominent sign boards indicating fines for littering and bringing dogs should be installed. Self-help groups and social service organizations should create awareness about civic sense and the importance of maintaining the park’s cleanliness and safety.
By implementing these measures, Triphala Park can maintain its status as a beautiful green haven and continue to provide a clean and safe environment for all its visitors.
