The love and pride for our Nation and its Tricolour takes centerstage in the heart of all Indians on Independence Day 15th August.
Bringing the same fervour to DLF Phase 2, RWA and many residents reflected their love for the country and its citizens, celebrating the 78th year of Independent India.
The RWA of DLF2 organised the National flag hoisting at K block community centre where the ceremony was conducted by services veterans and accompanied with honouring the ‘men-in-uniforms’ in our neighbourhood, our security guards. The community centre grounds decorated with the tricolour buntings and the participants in attires of same shades, resonated the spirit of oneness and community bondings.
The Q block residents also came together to hoist the Tricolour at the Q block park and invited Manish Yadav as guest to do the honours. The event provided a good opportunity to all residents to meet up and chat and engage in community bonding.
On 14th Aug, the Police station personnel of DLF2 also took out a Tiranga Yatra and went around the colony to engage the residents.
The Bhramkumari centre at K block also celebrated the event with kids performing.
The enthusiasm for working for the society also reflected in the ‘My Club, My Right’ group hoisting the flag at the DLF Club site to show solidarity to push the developer DLF to start the project.
