Trees that lean towards buildings or walkways, pose greater risk of probable damage to property or physical injury. Soil cracking around the base of a tree indicates that the tree is losing its grip in the soil, thereby increasing the risk of toppling.
I took two or three rounds of the colony in search of such trees. It was quite alarming that many trees are leaning towards one side, posing the risk of toppling.
What is even more alarming are the cable wires that run around the trees posing further threat if the trees fall. With the approaching winters now it is an urgent need for all the trees of the colony to be pruned so that sunshine is also not blocked. Request the authorities to take note of it and take necessary actions.
Given below is the list of leaning trees around the colony of Green Park Extension: Trees in front T-13. Tree inside boundary of U-4, Tree at the corner bend of U-1, Tree in front of V-7, Tree between U-14 & 15, Tree opp toV-19, Tree in front of M-1, Tree opp M-12
Tree between K-13A &K 14, 2trees in L block Park boundary facing the offices, Trees opposite H-34, Tree in front of P-7A, Tree in front of P-1, Tree in front of R-1 rear side.
