The months of July and August are very favourable for tree plantation as these months experience a lot of rainfall in our country. We see a lot of greenery in our surroundings during these months, which not only improves the quality of the air we breathe but also helps uplift our mood. The interdependence of humans and trees is such that one cannot exist without the other. Hence, it is our responsibility to not just preserve Mother Nature but also restore it to a healthy state so that our future generations can reap its benefits.
On the occasion of Vijay Diwas Alliance Friendship Club and Noida Prateek partnered to conduct a successful plantation drive in our sector at the park near Sector 61 metro station. In the tree plantation programme people bowed down to the martyrs and planted saplings in their memory. In this drive, various kinds of plants like Amla, Jamun, Imli, Guava etc were planted.
Namit Gautam, Shobhit Jain, Chaman Lal Verma, Chhaya Awasthi, Anupama Kumar, Aditi Choudhary, Neeta Tyagi, Jiwan Dhar Jain, Anusuya Singh, Nazish Zaidi along with gardeners Vijay and Kishore were present in the program. The enthusiastic participation of residents in this drive gives hope to the society of a better and greener future – one where humans look after nature and vice versa.
