The colony on a daily basis witnesses massive traffic jams across the colony. These jams are not only limited to a particular time or the main nallah bridge but also affect all exit points, making it difficult for residents to exit and enter the colony. Even there are times when it takes a lot of time to cross from one block to another. There are various reasons, ranging from the commercialisation of the colony leading to people visiting offices. The other reason is the colony is treated as a pathway for vehicles moving from Sewa Nagar to Lajpat Nagar or towards GK using the colony to avoid traffic on the ring road and BRT, and whenever there is a jam or the red light at the ring road or Kotla Road crossing has a short timer, it causes jams, especially on Nallah and Exit. Also, wrong/double-side parking across the colony leads to congestion. Hope the authorities and RWA can chalk out a plan to resolve this major problem. Lastly, I would like to thank our RWA colony guards who, over the years, have done a wonderful job and are still doing it in managing this traffic problem.
