Unkempt and poorly maintained trees have been falling so frequently all around us that this has stopped making news any longer. Yet another tree fell in GK-2, this time it was in Sehgal Market 2 Park on 9th October`22. While the Authorities were quick in removing the debris, the question that remains unanswered is how long we are going to keep taking such incidents in our stride. When will the Authorities wake up and carry out a proper inspection of the trees and take preventive measures to obviate such recurrences?
