According to The Bhagavad Gita, Yog is a way of life. It is a Skill in action. Yog comprises various asanas, deep breathing, meditation and human self-conduct and behaviour with others. Rishi Patanjali had said “Yog takes away the toxins from the body and makes us healthy and fit.” This fitness includes physical, mental and spiritual well-being. It is rejuvenating, increases our creativity, makes our mind clear and enhances our decision-making ability. Our intuitive abilities grow and help us to be calm and blissful.
We feel blessed to be having free yog sessions in The Tikona Park GK2, Mon to Sat, 6.30 to 8.00 am. Our dedicated teacher, who comes from Yog Vigyan Evam Manav Kalyan Trust, is providing free sewa. The sanstha also believes in training a standby teacher, one amongst us, to be able to take over in case of the teacher’s absence.
Our Tikona Park is a meeting point for all our like-minded yog enthusiasts. It is a place where we share our happiness, joy & pain; celebrating occasions; exchanging viewpoints; expressing feelings and emotions; and sailing through life happily. These have become a part of our daily practice. Wishing on the occasion and asking for a party reminds us of our younger years of life and we all become children in a way. Cracking jokes and leg pulling is part of the fun! Everyone is so used to seeing each other every morning, that if someone is absent even one day, everyone gets concerned.
Daily Yog practice in the Tikona Park not only helps to keep us fit but also acts as meeting point for exchanging other mindful things like saplings, items for recycling, donations for NGOs, innovative ideas, research on some new poses, etc. It provides a cheerful and refreshing environment that helps to take away the daily pressures of life very calmly and peacefully.
Since ancient times, Yog has been practiced by saints who used to guide others for holistic development.. We welcome everyone to join in for this wonderful experience.
