The PERA AGM was held on 30th October,2022.It was full of roars and uproars. The President Mr. Sanjiv Pabbi was unwell. Therefore Mr. D.K.Aggarwal, a very active and a familiar name in the colony was invited to open the Meeting in the President’s absence. He welcomed the residents and invited the Secretary Mr. Pankaj Bhardwaj to start the meeting. It started by paying homage to the departed souls and was followed by complaints and concerns sent in the form of letters by the residents. The TT hall of the club soon took the form of Parliament House. There were allegations, counter allegations thrown at each other. Some even got up and rushed to the dais to get themselves heard. Tempers rose, heated debate started amongst each other. The main topic was to declare the date of the election of PERA but to our surprise not a single nomination has been filed so far. However the treasurer, Mr.k.K. Aggarwal presented the financial accounts. The accounts were passed and auditors for the next year were also approved. Mr. Sunny Chaudhary, Mr. Mitroo and Mr.Thukral spoke what was on the agenda and complaints were noted with a promise that they will be looked into. The meeting ended but some important points still remained unaddressed like opening of Gate no.4 and U turn near Chirag Dilli crossing. There were several other concerns which didn’t find a voice as embers present were shouting on top of their voices. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by the Secretary.
