Colourful Holi festival is just round the corner with all the rainbow colours to be spread in the air. Many of us are gearing up for this auspicious festival. Some of us are busy preparing multi coloured gulals and sumptuous gunjiyas while others are busy either buying them from sweet shops or procuring color- crackers which are quite common among children these days.
It is one Indian festival which is fondly celebrated by elders like kids. When on one hand some are in a festive mood to celebrate the festival with lots and lots of colors while on other hand, some are engaged in adding colours in someone’s life.
Most of us set an alarm to go for a walk or prepare a morning meal or get ready for our workplace. There is one lady named Babita Singh. For an hour, sharp at 6 A.M she teaches two girls from humble background based in a village. She is adding colours of knowledge in their lives. She is helping them get educated so that they can become self dependent. On the other hand a cricket coach named Sachin Adhikari who is professional coach himself in one of the reputed schools of Noida, everyday he coaches two boys from Barola village to become professional cricketer like him. He is adding colours of hope in their lives. We salute their spirit and indomitable will to serve humanity in whatever way they can. Physical colours will be washed away but colour added to the lives of some needy person will leave indelible mark in his life. So this Holi, whose life you are colouring?
