Purewash (NGO) founded by Ranju Minhas, working towards financial empowerment of women by imparting Skill Training in Kitchen Waste Management and in making of Herbal Products.
Purewash is a startup incubation programme by Pusa Krishi. The Jaivik Gulal project began in 2023 wherein Training was imparted both on-line and in Schools & Colleges on, ‘Freedom from Waste’.
With a view to bring back the traditional fervour of Holi, the ‘Festival of Colours’ Ranju Minhas embarked on a mission to make Colours safe. Dangerous Chemical Colours harmful for the skin, had over time distanced people from use the of Colours during Holi.
Women groups in Banda, Gaziabad, Shahadra etc were trained by Mrs. Minhas and launched Natural Gulal under brand names Maharishi Bamdev Jaivik Gulal, Ramrang Jaivik Gulal and Sumangalam Gulal. Along with training the Purewash Team, offers support in marketing, packaging and branding of Jaivik Gulal.
In Delhi the brand ‘Ramrang Jaivik Gulal’ has been launched by team Purewash in co-ordination with Self Help Groups and RWA’s from across Delhi. The work is divided in three segments, making of Ramrang Jaivik Gulal, its packaging and marketing is handled by different teams.
The Heral Gulal is purely made with finely powdered Cornflour which is colored with extract of Beetroot, Spinach, Turmeric, Marigold etc. A touch of fragrance is given by using Essential Oils and Chandan Powder. The Ramrang Jaivik Gulal by Purewash has been tested for skin safety. By buying this product you will be bringing smiles on the faces of women who are beneficiaries of the project.
