Police Patrolling Showing Positive Results
In lieu of the recent increase in thefts the RWA had called a meeting with the ACP and SHO of the area & apprised them of the situation. As a result beat policing has increased in SDA.
Due to their vigilance the night thefts have completely vanished & the New SHO Rajneesh Kumar himself did night patrolling. He also increased the police staff. But the thieves are way too smart.
After the guards open the gates at 5.30 am they enter the colony in stolen cars with fake number plates and steal the cars around 6.15 am when many residents are out for their morning walk and even doing yoga in the park.
All this is captured in the cameras …so now the SHO has requested the security team of SDA RWA to open the gates at 7.am in the morning but one guard is stationed at the SDA MKT gate at 5.30 am avoid inconvenience to the morning walkers and even the school buses start coming around 6.15 am so let’s hope that the thefts well be under control
First thing the thieves do is that they tamper with the GPS of the cars and the cars targeted are mainly the ‘INNOVA’ and the ‘FORTUNER’. We are keeping our fingers crossed to see our colony safe with the cooperation of police and our security guards as well as the residents .
The SHO has appealed to the residents to put wheel locks in their cars .as this works as a deterrent to the thefts …
