Whether or not you know this man by name, you must have still spotted him zipping around on his bullet, in his trademark white and blue jeans.
That’s Amit Tyagi, our administrative executive who, along with his team of 39 men, works tirelessly to ensure that our township remains clean and green. As ‘AE’, his main job is to manage the horticulture and housekeeping staff. A resident of Badshahpur, where he lives with his wife and two children, Amit has been a constant presence in Malibu for the past 13 years. Joining the township’s promoter’s estate, MEPL, as a rookie security supervisor, he later got promoted to the position of Security Head. Taking over as the AE after the colony was taken over by MCG in July 2022, Amit was amongst the few who were retained from the previous team. In his 13 years in the colony, he has seen many changes in the colony. While he appreciates the security measures put in place by the current RWA, he also laments the loss of trees and birds due to the increase in construction. It was common to spot peacocks, owls and hares before the open spaces got taken over by new buildings, he says.
A fitness enthusiast, Amit likes to indulge in gymming during his time off.
