For over one and half years numerous complaints have been coming in and reported of water wastage in front of C557 which, from a trickle soon turned into a flowing river. Over time sadly precious fresh water was wasting 24/7, due to a fault in the main water pipeline near an under construction house of a judge. The matter was reported many times on FB Whatsapp groups to the previous RWA and in Samvada to the Builders and DJB but nothing happened. Finally due to the immense and persistent efforts of Anuj Bakshi of RWA, boldly through Twitter and help from Rajeev Suri the Delhi Jal Board finally woke up and repair of the pipe line started. Hopefully now the flowing river which flooded the road will remain dry. Special thanks to Rahul Yadav Junior Engineer DJB who personally got involved and took corrective action, finally putting the long running leaking river to repair and rest on Dec 2.
