A very ridiculous incident took place in the Sector. A program was organised in which two very senior resident ladies were present. The co-host bought a beautiful bouquet and handed it over to senior lady ‘A’ to welcome the Chief Guest. Lady A was sitting there with the bouquet in her hands to welcome the Chief Guest. Suddenly, a few seconds before the arrival of the Chief Guest, another senior lady, we may call her D, came and snatched the bouquet from Lady A and gave the bouquet to someone else.
This whole incident was ridiculous at all levels. Everybody present was stunned with this snatching of the bouquet. As expected, the atmosphere in the event became very tense but Lady A maintained her dignity and remained silent. The Chief guest of course had no idea about the entire drama.
We make a humble request to our residents: please don’t make this kind of a spectacle, we should maintain some dignity and decorum.
