Heartening sight to see the upliftment of the peepal tree
There is a Peepal tree opp P-21, which has witnessed many seasons and also a raw deal in the name of religious faith. People clean their homes and leave unwanted stuff under the tree in the name of mythological beliefs.
It was such a heartening sight to see the Peepal tree with the area around it getting renovated. The building opposite the Peepal tree is P-21. When the construction came to completion I noticed the boundary around the tree was made higher and beautifully decorated with plants and flowering pots.
Raising the height of the boundary was perhaps done to deter people from dumping idols spent diyas and household waste under the tree. The boundary has been beautifully made so as not to constraint the roots of the majestic Peepal tree; it is beautifully trellised.
This was a thoughtful and a welcome act on the part of the owners and I congratulate them for this step giving a neat look to the surroundings of the tree. We need more such residents in the colony who will not only beautify their own homes but their surroundings as well.
