Sec A/B&C ARWS has many issues unresolved within the colony since its inception and some have gradually popped up over a period of time. It has found it very difficult to address them due to various political reasons.
To find solutions to these critical problems, the managing committee members of Sec A/B&C ARWS decided to take a unique approach. They listed the major issues faced by everyone into a pledge and grabbed the opportunity of MCD elections and got it signed from all contesting candidates in front of the public. The political candidates in their desire to get the residents support and votes signed on the dotted line without any hesitation.
This pledge that has the list of all the issues will now be a major game changer for everyone in time to come. Now all the issues are part of the document duly highlighted and everyone in power or in the opposition is aware of them. They can now raise these with the officials in all the forums.

Dear Vasant Kunj Sector A Pocket B and C Residents
I Pushpa Singh w/o Shri Satbir Singh (Residents of Mehrauli) Pledge today that I will ensure to best of my capability and capacity as Councillor of Municipal Corporation of Delhi, to help residents in the following urgent problems as explained by ARWS members of Sec A Pocket B and C Vasant Kunj New Delhi.
- The proposed Secondary Govt School by Delhi state government inside the colony is relocated to another more feasible and accessible location by using all my powers and contacts to persuade DDA officials. The current plot will be declared part of the RIDGE (Smriti Van).
- I will oppose any move to open any liquor shop near or around Sec A, Pkt B and C and ensure full support to RWAs in this regard.
- I will work with the residents and MCD officials to ensure all sanitation needs of Sec-A Pkt B and C society be fulfilled and make it a Zero Waste Colony.
- I will ensure that all unattended parks of Sec-A pkt B and C Vasant Kunj will be attended to equally and developed beautifully and provide necessary manpower without any bias or prejudice. All parks will get STP water with pressure if required by laying new pipelines.
