The Other Picture of Monsoon…

Every year India witnesses a good spell of monsoon bringing showers. The entire country enjoys the spell of rain. It brings both happiness and a lot of destruction because of so much human encroachment everywhere.

Nature’s cycle and the way she protects herself have gone for a toss. The mountains are bleeding with trash and carbon print and whatnot the Plains are bleeding with encroachment, unneeded construction, and improper sanitation. There is no place where the water coming from the monsoon can be harvested. Everywhere it is concrete, No trees, No plants which are killing the little creatures living inside the soil we should not forget that these little ones (earthworms, centipedes, millipedes etc.) make the soil fertile This fertile soil is further used for our vegetation agriculture and any other production.

The river beds are getting empty due to the unstop smuggling of sand used for construction and many other purposes.

The water from the rain has no place to go and then this water turns into floods taking away everything with them and then human thinks that Nature has been unkind to them.

We must not forget that nature has its way of taking care of herself and healing herself and we are just a little being in her world. We humans should not consume her limitless.

Every year there are major floods witnessed but we do not understand. These are the small signs mother nature gives us.

India is blessed you have monsoon the rains bring an entire stock of water for the year and it is freshwater we can use it wisely rather than just putting it in the drain. we must educate everyone around us and our children about the need for insects, plants worms, soil, and trees everyone all like humans contributes in the existence of this beautiful world called Mother Earth.

Enjoy the monsoon and get drenched in the rain.

Take care of yourself and nature around you. The way you take care of yourself.

Sharing a few pictures of Princeton post rains.
