As already informed in our last month’s issue, the old security agency has been removed as it was lax in providing proper security services to the residents. The new security staff of men/women look smart in their uniform and we hope that they perform better services to the entire satisfaction of the residents. While passing through gate no. 3, I saw the guards stopping the Zomato delivery man to check his id card etc. Mr. Yogesh Gupta, Security incharge was also guiding them. But, I also saw that the guards were not enquiring about the other two wheeler drivers, to which I instructed them to stop and ask about their reason for entry. Mr. Gupta said it is not practically possible, as there are huge numbers entering every day. I think regular workers in the colony should hang an ID around their neck or the bike should have a sticker of the colony for free entry. As we all know, the thieves who steal manhole covers come on two wheelers and zip off. Therefore, it is imperative that we check all drivers who enter the colony.
