Last lunar eclipse of the year occurred on Kartik Purnima, 8 November. The beautiful celestial event was witnessed in Noida when earth’s shadow caused the demure moon to turn Blood Moon by Rayleigh scattering effect. The moment was beautifully captured by 10-year-old Aditya Chauhan (A 201) Crescent Apartment. “I first experimented on the best view and angle, zoomed my binoculars to 30 X and took the shot with my phone camera. It took me three attempts to get the perfect one.” The next total lunar eclipse will now occur on 14 March 2025 only.
