The Kind Hearted Car Thieves!

To start this article, I just want to say our RWA group guards are doing a wonderful job in terms of security management of our colony. But there is a need to understand that they are also human and I won’t say mistakes but error of judgement does happen.

In a recent incident some kind hearted thieves stole a Fortuner car from D block side in the early hours of the morning. The car passed through the C block Quadrant where it was dutifully stopped by the guard and asked for the driver’s credentials in terms of house number etc. The driver just sped away before the guard could react. Thinking it to be another car from the pubs (in D block) he didn’t take much notice as generally public coming from the pubs react in this manner.

But things went the other way, the resident a lawyer noticed his car gone and informed the police and there was utter chaos in the colony about a car being stolen. This car theft incidents have happened in BCDE blocks after a long time so for the security committee of RWA it became a matter of deep concern with such SOP how could a car be stolen!!

The police team defence colony under the SHO Inspector Chander Shekhar made a team and car was out on tracking and for the next two days it became their only priority.

Now the time comes where I justify my title @ Good thieves

On the third day Nandu Tiwari RWA guard supervisor while on patrol duty saw a Fortuner car parked with no number plates and open near Lady Irwin School gate D block.

He immediately informed the SHO Inspector Chander Shekhar who sent the IO on duty and it was found that it was the same car which was stolen two days back.

On further questioning the private home guards around it was found that two boys brought the car and parked it at the gate and sat in another car and went away. To end this must say how sweet of them to leave the car back intact.
