The shortfall of trees is a severe and grave issue. It seems like no matter how many trees we plant, we are still unable to fill the void. The quest and need for planting more trees motivated me to undertake intensive tree planting this year. My journey for this cause has been ongoing for a couple of years now. This year, from July 3 to July 20, 2024, I successfully planted multiple trees across the green belts of sectors 78 and 79. Trees were planted alongside the boundary walls of Antrishk Golf View-1, Sunshine Helios, Sikka, and Mahagun Mezzaria, covering the full service road of these societies. This time, I also planted Gulmohar and neem trees. Additionally, I planted trees in front of the market place in sector 79 and Solaris Society. I am grateful for the support provided by the Noida Horticulture officials, who provided around 50 tree guards. Once again, I would like to thank everyone for their support and hard work towards this cause. I firmly believe in increasing greenery in our surroundings for a better future. I hope to continue planting more trees, as it brings me joy to see nature bloom. Green India, Clean India, our India. Jai Hind.
Samvada Adds: The tree plantation efforts in Sector 78, Noida, led by dedicated individuals like Sukhmani Dhillon, are a testament to the power of community-driven initiatives in creating a greener and healthier environment. Despite the challenges, the persistence and support from local authorities and NGOs have resulted in the planting of numerous trees, contributing to a better future. As Sukhmani Dhillon aptly puts it, “Green India, Clean India, our India,” this selfless work inspires us to take small steps towards making a significant difference. Let us continue to nurture and support such initiatives, ensuring a sustainable and thriving planet for generations to come.
