An unauthorised open dumping site in L-Block has become a cause for tension among the residents of DLF Phase-2. Those affected by the presence of garbage rotting in the moderately sized pile of waste have been raising this issue on a regular basis.
Many house owners now want some restrictions on open dumping of kitchen waste at spots not earmarked for the same by the maintenance agency.
The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) is responsible for the maintenance of the area, however, their resources need to be channelized in a better fashion, which is possible only with the help of RWA.
Adding to the mess, the sanitation workers of MCG were on strike and were not collecting garbage littered on streets across the city, protesting the uncertainty surrounding their job.

MCG garbage collection is worst. And has not done anything worth while regarding it. Just collecting money from every house in name of garbage collection and then throwing it at empty plots. RWA need to buck up and take garbage collection and security seriously.
