This Independence Day, India celebrated its 78th year of freedom.A Freedom run was being organised by DLF which started from DLF 5 club till Faridabad road and back. It was a total of 5 km Run the participants were being given T-shirts and trackers.A lot of people participated in the event. The day started with little showers which people thought that might hamper the spirit of ‘Freedom Run’ but this turned into a blessing in disguise as the cool weather supported the run.DLF arranged for electrolyte and water supply in between the zones of the track.Participants were also given bananas to enhance their energy.A lot of people participated from Princeton itself. The run started with the Zumba session where the laughter group members from PRINCETON enjoyed the warm-up session we could see them all dressed up in white T-shirts adorning the Indian flag.The Run was very empowering and all were being taken care of by the traffic police so the runners were safe on the roads.
The club also arranged for a cultural program and a price distribution set-up. The participants were given badges for the completion of the run.
Two Residents from Princeton estate had brought pride to our Condominium.
Mr Ranjeet Kumar (2B 115) won a trophy in 45 + category from Princeton, we wish him many more feathers to his hat.He is known for his commitment to lead a healthy lifestyle
Enakshi Samra (2B -107) won a trophy in the 60-plus category. This achievement is commendable.We wish her good health.Your spirit keeps us all motivated.
Later the participants from Princeton joined the Flag hoisting arranged by the Princeton condominium.
