Meet Rakhi Khera, the visionary behind the brands “Abiti Bella” and “Mine4nine”, dedicated to empowering expecting and nursing mothers with a blend of fashion and functionality.
Mrs. Khera has been a resident of Suncity since 2002 and finds this community to be a cohesive and supportive one. “Suncity mei toh meri jaan basti hai” says Rakhi Ji, who feels deeply connected to this township since it has been her residence for over 20 years and it is also the place where she started on her path to success.
Her entrepreneurial journey began in 2013 when she decided to pursue her passion for fashion design. She started Abiti Bella as a small western wear brand, where she would handle most operations herself with consulting support from her husband, Rajeev Khera. Today Mine4nine, the maternity line of Abiti Bella has grown into a renowned brand that also featured in season 1 of Shark Tank India. Mrs. Khera herself has been recognised by platforms like Josh Talks and Your Story for her entrepreneurial talent.
In over a decade, Rakhi Ji has seen multiple highs and lows in her profession. Despite the grand success, she faced shortcomings during demonetisation and COVID-19. However, her passion and zeal kept her going, helping her stay resilient in the face of hurdles; even if it meant starting from scratch.
In future, she wants to make Mine4nine a house of brands with more relevant categories and products being added. Coming from a Hindi medium educational background herself, Rakhi ji emphasises that interacting in Hindi is not a disadvantage and one must not shy away from communicating in their mother tongue.
Being a proud feminist, Rakhi Ji’s message to our readers is that the power of women must never be underestimated, they are capable of achieving everything they want. She also emphasises that families and friends must be supportive of their loved ones’ aspirations and ambitions, as it serves as a push for them to keep moving forward in life.
